The rules for requesting donations from AA&I:

1. No individual or business must directly profit from a donation.

2. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how the donation benefits the village. This may be by assisting with an event,  publicity and promotions, providing facilities for the village or supplying or maintaining property that is publicly accessible.

3. We insist on receipts for all donations and where it was given for purchases or services provided by third parties, copies of receipts from those parties to prove no mark up or profit was made.

4. Applicant must accept that their donation is recorded in our financial ledger, will be professionally audited and available for viewing by the public if requested.

5. Visible recognition that AA&I provided assistance is normally required. This may be in text where publicly viewable and may include the AA&I logo. Artwork for the logo is available to successful applicants on request.

6. If a donation is made that receives or is expected to receive publicity in the media, prior permission must be granted so we can check the accuracy of statements within it.  We will not be held liable for inaccurate information and any consequences arising from it.

7. The decision on whether to grant a donation will be made at Committee meetings but may in exceptional circumstances be made by other communications between Committee members.

8. The Committee's decision is final and binding.  Unsuccessful applicants may re-apply for funding if they wish subject to satisfactory amendments being made.  Re-applications will follow the same procedure as new applications and will be reassessed on their merit in the normal way.

9. You must agree to indemnify the AA&I and it's Committee against any claim made arising from the donation and consequences of it. We only provide financial assistance, it is up to the applicant to satisfy themselves that adequate safety procedures are employed and insurance is obtained when necessary.
